Brown eyes are the most versatile. Try plums, bronzes, greens, blues, greys, neutrals, pretty much anything. Plums and violets especially make brown eyes pop. Brown eyes are also beautiful because its easy to do that sultry smokey eye effect (try doing that with neutrals because black would be too harsh punk emo). And there's nothing wrong with matching your eyeshadow with the color of your eyes unless you're blue eyed and wearing blue shadow (thats scary)
Gold, Green, and Bronze. And it depends on your skin color. I have light brown skin/golden skin and Im african american. So the best color for my are browns or anything related. I like using golds and browns. So, it depends on your skin color also.

This is what a lot of make up artists do on counters as it's quick, easy and hygenic. They're also not very expensive to buy.

well i have green eyes and heres what i do, i use the loreal double extend beauty tube masacra and then use h.i.p true color eye liner, i apply the eyeliner inside my eye and a little ontop and under my eye. for eyesahdow i use a light purple on the lower lid then a darkish green brown on the crease, then top it of with a lightish green color, colors like purple, and silver and browns make green eyes look amazing. just make sure to blend the colors together so it doesnt have that choppy look to it. and ur really lucky that ur tan!

I too have this color eyes, and I love playing up the color by using first just a basic, shimmery tan color, with a liquid copper eyeliner, then i usually put some dark chocolate brown on the crease with lots of mascara. thats for a day look. for night i wear a black eyeliner and usually for shadow i will wear either purple (plum-ish), green tones, or a really gold shimmery color. So important! For eyeliner, some kind of brown. Not to light, any where from treebark brown to the lightest black. Then add some black mascara as a touch up. If you want more subtle eyes, use just the highlight, and mascara and eyeliner.

On a daily basis, I've found any type of brown looks great because you probably have brown specks of color in your eyes. Also, if you use a very light redish-purplish-greyish color over your lid and put a green in the crease it looks really pretty. Light blue is the best as it gives coolness and also on fair colour it suits best.
When you put it all together, look at your eyeshadow and decide if you really need it with everything else you are wearing. Blue always looks good with blue eyes. I'd so something so subtle it looks natural.

Light blue is the best as it gives coolness and also on fair colour it suits best.
When you put it all together, look at your eyeshadow and decide if you really need it with everything else you are wearing. Blue always looks good with blue eyes. I'd so something so subtle it looks natural.

During the day I would suggest, light earthtone colors - champagnes, browns, greens ;; and maybe light color pinks/purples to whites. Also try to look in your eye, and you sometimes have a little bit of green streaks, or blue, or orange, use that color eyeshadow to bring them out. At night I would use deep/bold blues, greens, teals, purples, and browns. I use this really not dark but like royal blue that's half cream and half shadow, it looks amazing. A great eyeliner to use with blues is midnight blue. It looks great on brown eyes, and looks really pretty when I use the deep shadows. Apply darkest on the crease, medium on the lid, and lightest above the crease.

First, the simpler one...

I think gold looks better on green eyes.
I think gold would look pretty, but only a little bit, you don't want it too heavy, or a nice shade of lavender/purple would make your eyes pop. Although glittery white would be very appealing as well.
gold is better but you might want to try some natural-looking purples but nothing bright.. go to a makeup counter and have them show you make up techniques-- white eyeshadow is probably not a good option and is most likely intended to be a highlighter for your brow bones.. apply the white to teh bone below your brow and then take the gold and cover your lid blending it into the white. lastly apply eyeliner and mascara for a sophisticated look! i hope i have helped!

I would recommend that you line your eyes thinly with black eyeliner and using either light green or purple for your eyeshadow. Those two colors will really bring out your green eyes. As for lipgloss, stick with a clear or soft pink shade. I'd avoid lipstick, but if you were to use it, go for a neutral color that isn't too red or rosy.
To make your green eyes pop use a purple eyeshadow or liner, it will really make them standout, that's what I use for my green eyes. As for lipgloss, try to stick to more nude shades so your lips dont compete with your eyes to much.
Revlon makes a good nude gloss called ';toast to shine'; and it looks amazing with green eyes :)

I would experiment. Try going to your local department store and make appointments to have your make-up done at counters where you actually like what the employee has done with there make-up. Don't rush in to buying everything at the first counter. You may feel pressured to if you like the sales person, but try a few out.
These employees have been trained and have a good eye for color. Without seeing your exact shade of hair, and exact eye color and skin tone, it's hard to say.
I have green eyes, fair skin and have had very dark hair, and I love to put the emphisis on my eyes with shades of green, haze, and charcol. Don't play up your eyes and lips dramatic. Either eyes, or lips. I'd go for eyes.

As for lipgloss, stick with a clear or soft pink shade. I'd avoid lipstick, but if you were to use it, go for a neutral color that isn't too red or rosy.
To make your green eyes pop use a purple eyeshadow or liner, it will really make them standout, that's what I use for my green eyes. As for lipgloss, try to stick to more nude shades so your lips dont compete with your eyes to much.
Revlon makes a good nude gloss called ';toast to shine'; and it looks amazing with green eyes :)
I suggest you don't use any makeup.But if you wan't to use to go out or for any occasion I think you

I would experiment. Try going to your local department store and make appointments to have your make-up done at counters where you actually like what the employee has done with there make-up. Don't rush in to buying everything at the first counter. You may feel pressured to if you like the sales person, but try a few out.
These employees have been trained and have a good eye for color. Without seeing your exact shade of hair, and exact eye color and skin tone, it's hard to say.
I have green eyes, fair skin and have had very dark hair, and I love to put the emphisis on my eyes with shades of green, haze, and charcol. Don't play up your eyes and lips dramatic. Either eyes, or lips. I'd go for eyes.
I have no idea but if your hair is black and your eyes r green I would imagine you look ok with any gloss/lipstick/eyeshadow/liner color
with fair skin, light pink lip gloss always looks really pretty because it adds a little bit of color without making your lips overly dramatic. i think that black eyeliner would look really cool with green eyes and black hair if you put kind of a medium amount of it on.

My dress is black with just a tiny bit of silver beadwork. my corsage(sry my spelling sucks) is going to be white and red, and im also doing my nailpolish red. my shoes are black, and I have rinestone(fake dimonds) necklace and earings. Although you are a lot younger then me, your characteristics are very similar to mine. I am all the same, except my eyes are green (well, dark blue ring on the outside, green, and then yellow-ish in the middle).
I use a white shadow to color my lids. Then, I use a navy-ish blue on the upper outsides. Then, I use a purple on the inside (still all above the lid). Then, I use a black liquid liner, only on the lash line. I bottom the eyes with a black pencil (less is better, you are just outlining). Then, I use a black mascara on my lashes.
I get compliments all the time on my eyes, so it must be working. I hoped I helped you. Please remember, less is better, you are just accenting. Too much is well, too much!

I would stick with browns for nicer, dressier occasions and a pinkish for everyday. A brown eyeliner is great for a less severe look as well. It has nice, soft seductive look without overshadowing what you are trying to bring attention too.

stick to light colors unless you go for the smokey look for a night on the town. pinks would be pretty on you. I couldn't see exactly your eye color. If blue..use light browns and tans. Don't wear any purple or blue or any colors like that. Unless you wanna wear the smokey look then that's an acception.
I think I would like the natural pretty look eyeshadow on you though.
