During the day I would suggest, light earthtone colors - champagnes, browns, greens ;; and maybe light color pinks/purples to whites. Also try to look in your eye, and you sometimes have a little bit of green streaks, or blue, or orange, use that color eyeshadow to bring them out. At night I would use deep/bold blues, greens, teals, purples, and browns. I use this really not dark but like royal blue that's half cream and half shadow, it looks amazing. A great eyeliner to use with blues is midnight blue. It looks great on brown eyes, and looks really pretty when I use the deep shadows. Apply darkest on the crease, medium on the lid, and lightest above the crease.

A light purple shadow will really make them pop!





Almay has these great eyeshadows that tell you what shadows to use on your eyes depending on the color of your eyes. They come with 3 different colors and also give directions on how to apply it. I would suggest getting it, it's fairly cheap and you can get it at any convenience store!
any color works! that is the beauty of having brown eyes, have fun playing with colors =)
You'll look best in medium green, medium purple, plum, medium blue, medium gray or blue-gray shades of eye shadow
Purple is the best but green does nicely too.
I use Almay.. i not only use the ones labeled ';for brown eyes';.. i use em all... although purple and green look really good with brown eyes.... just get almay... they have sets of liner. mascara and shadow that are coordinated so they match perfectly... its cheap and cute and they are like at all k marts and walmarts and stuff

lilac, deep purple, grays, soft blacks, and pale green. of course shades of brown always work as well.
