It mainly depends on your skin color as well as your eye color. Natural earthy tones like bronze, forest, so mainly stick to colors that are natural and make your eyes pop. I would use a medium tone to cover the lid like a medium tan or something... then use a darker shade on the crease of your lids to give it some depth and contrast, and then on the top of your lid like under your eyebrow a lighter color like a gold, an off white, something shimmery. And then hit your lid with some eyeliner so it won't make your eyelid pale with all that eyeshadow, and it gives it a finished look. I like to use pencil eyeliners and i'll use brown black by maybelliene
purples and greens are good. I also do some gold at times even silver. Because I am darker I can wear loads of colors and they look great , but the colors listed above bring out the color of your eyes

Pinks and purples tend to look awesome with brown eyes, especially dark brown eyes. As far as eyeliner goes, I think the standard black would work. Try a shimmery vanilla color on the brow bone as a highlight, and a light baby pink on the lid, with a darker pink in the outer-corners, or in the crease. Remember to line your lower lash-line with the light pink eye shadow, it looks better. Don't forget the mascara! It completes the look. Hope this helped!
well mine are darkbrown reddish and i find that violets work really good with out any bottom liner just take a small brush and line the bottom with a charcoal color if you use to much its over powering also a gray works good like silver with a lil black liner above the lash soooo yea hope it helps!!

It depends on your skin tone also. Lavender eyeshadow and black liner looks good with brown. Also, I wear my eye makeup to match what I am wearing sometimes.
