What color eyeshadow to use?

I'm doing my BFF makeup for prom.


She has light skin, and her dress is kinda like Sky Blue ish.


I don't know what colors to use on her eyes.


Oh and she has brown eyes too.


I was thinking just sticking to a smokey brown.


And by the way I'm using all MAC eyeshadows.





So can you guys please tell me what color eyeshadows would look good on her.

CONTRAST on her lid (try to use it wet, it pops more) and then CARBON (or typographic which is a matte^2 that i personally prefer over carbon) in her crease

but if you wanna do a smokey brown


i recommend using WOODWINKED and then EMBARK in the crease

I would go with the colors of her dress and some dark browns. Do a dark brown as an eyeliner, on the top and bottom (use eyeshadow for this not a pencil it looks prettier) Than do a light brown color for the lid to the crease, Over that do a light blue dusting, I find this makes the dress and eyes stand out more if you match the colors. Do a shimmery light brown or white eyeshadow on the arch of the brow and inner corner of the eye. and if you want do a bit of blue on the lower eye line too. Looks really cute. i would go with the smokey eye shadows for sure...its the best way to go...
