It is mostly about undertones of your skin -- not how light or dark your skin is.





Some people look best in ';cool-colors'; and they look great in blues, purples.





Others have ';warm'; undertones -- and they look great in browns and greens.





Buy one of those sets that have the whole color spectrum and experiment.





Remember that there is a way to apply. Make sure you have a highlight color (Something very light -- light pastel, light vanilla, almost white) and put that under your eyebrow.





And go to youtube and put in ';makeup'; because they show a lot of girls putting on eyeshadow.





Go light on eyeshadow, though, unless you are going out to party or to a club. Concentrate on shaping your eyebrows nicely (don't overpluck) and a thin line of eyeliner and mascara too.





For daytime wear, go light. That way when you really want to impress, you can go more dramatic in the evening. (If you are dramatic in the daytime, you leave no room to impress, yanno?)
A nice blue or silver. Not TOO showy but almost enough 2 see it. kind of let it sort of fade AROUND your eyes.
Eyeshadow a skintone or two lesser degree. Or moisturize upper lids and just put on mascara and eyeliner.

Natural colors look best. You can do the lower half of your eye lid with one color and the other half with a lighter color or the other way around. You can also use light colored (white or light grey/blue) eyeliner to frame your eyes. I think that looks cool on dark eyes.

im a guy, but my gf has similar color eyes and she wears golden/red eyeliner or grey and she looks fantastic. (although this is only for special occasions, shes emo liek me so she usually wears neon colors like blue.)

I like purple eyeshaddow the best not too dark though try lilac or something softer it would look HOT!
